Work took me to Marquette, Michigan on a beautiful, although slightly overcast, June day. There’s a bit of a color shift on this roll of Kodak Portra 800. Quite frankly, I had no idea how old the roll was. My guess it was 2021 or 2022, so not too far out, but it was inside my camera inside my camera cabinet on the main floor of my home, so I could not expect miracles. I only had about an hour to explore, but I had to see the Lower Harbor Ore Dock. I stopped at a great Mexican restaurant, El Santo, and those tacos are calling for my return. Sailboats…

From my last post, you could see that I wasn’t thrilled with how my photos shot on Fuji Pro 400H looked. I loved that film, but now that it is discontinued, I’m using up the last bit of my stock. I am completely out of 35mm at this point, but I do have some boxes of 120. The test on those will come soon.I don’t freeze my film, but I do store it in a cool environment, so those who freeze may have better luck.
