I had a hearing in Jackson County, Wisconsin, the county seat of which is Black River Falls. Stepping out of the car in front of the courthouse, St. Joseph’s at the top of the hill immediately captures your attention. In a short walk, you can see the Jackson County Historical Society Museum, the church, the courthouse, and the river.
